through our Communities
Bert Corona fought for the most urgent and essential rights of the immigrant and Latino community. Hoping to continue and expand its vision, the Hermandad Mexicana Nacional has created a series of annual programs and events to help the community in such a fast-paced and dynamic world.
Volunteer Program
The volunteer program works in coordination with the Los Angeles Volunteer Center and the Los Angeles Superior Court. Volunteers perform cutting tasks and are placed in jobs according to their skills. For most participants, the services are pleasant and worth it. While completing their community service hours, volunteers gain on-the-job experience and learn the value of community collaboration.
